I never came across this problem before because this is my first time using a modular power supply and I never used a card which requires more than two 8-pin connectors.The city burns and bleeds as it suffers the madness of King Louis XVI and his violent legions of automatons. I found out this mistake after desperately plugging and unplugging the power cables (RIP my adapter lifespan) and the card itself. And I honestly didn't think it would matter. I preferred that way because I thought it would look cleaner and I was going to use all 8-pin anyway. I made a stupid error when I connected those PCIe cables: I connected the 6+2-pin end to the power supply and the 8-pin end to the graphics card (should be the other way around!). So I will just post my experience here in hope that it will help someone with the same issue. ![]() After ruling out issues of my motherboard and power supply, I thought it was a dud and was almost going to return it.
